The administrative core committee supports the efforts of the research, education, training, and outreach cores through the following activities.

• Identify and promote opportunities for collaboration among EXPORT’s research, outreach, training, and education projects;
• Provide scientific leadership toward interdisciplinary collaboration;
• Facilitate the translation of science to practice;
• Engage community partners in productive activities that can lead to successful intervention strategies;
• Promote public and stakeholder awareness of rural health disparities and the work of EXPORT and other effective programs toward addressing those disparities;
• Provide for the evaluation and development of EXPORT activities;
• Convene the EXPORT National Advisory Board;
• Coordinate EXPORT activities and meetings among collaborating partners; and
• Administer personnel and fiscal matters.
